Just a sweet little hand-carved bear, with a broken ear. The grain is raised in a manner which implies a lot of handling, so we suspect that this was a homemade toy from back in the day when grandpa carved toys for the grandchildren, rather than sitting around watching Fox News. The bear’s head is turned to the side, which is just how bears walk, swinging their heads from side to side, sniffing for their next meal. A sweet little naïve carving, probably early 20th century.
