Dark Horse Fig Jar
“Fig Jar” made by the late potter and surfer Joel Magen of Dark Horse Pottery in Davenport, CA (just north of Santa Cruz). It was designed in collaboration with Magen’s longtime friend Diane Meehan, the founder of Bonny Doon Farm. It previously contained one of Diane’s herbal concoctions, as attested by the handwritten label still attached. A charming piece of California Central Coast back-to-the-land history!
