Montana Modern Vase
Tall vase from Patrick Creek Pottery, Kalispell, Montana. This pottery was a collaboration between Robert Markle and Jim Flaherty, operating from 1972 to 1979. Though not marked “Patrick Creek,” it was characteristic of the studio to use this tiny “Kalispell Montana” die-stamp on its wares. In addition, the resist decoration is consistent with the work of Jim Flaherty. A substantial vase with an earthy, yet also very modern, presence.
