A rather curious jug we came across recently. It has a heavily-reinforced shoulder to prevent breakage, and small neck lugs to fasten a cork in place. No carrying lug on the side. It was apparently designed to protect something important or dangerous, such as acid, denatured alcohol, or...? We have found nothing like it in our reference books. Any ideas?
