Here's an unusual object for your consideration: a woven rattan pillow (or bolster), originating from somewhere in Southeast Asia, we suspect. It's filled with coir (coconut husk fiber), it’s flexible, and surprisingly comfortable. We like it as a sculptural object, either displayed vertically or horizontally (it makes a nice pedestal to drape other objects over). Rich patina of age. A remarkable example of the basket-makers art!
