Spirit Finial
This large Black Oak finial came from a Victorian home built in California’s Santa Clara Valley (now called “Silicon Valley”), when it was an empire of orchards. Over many years of weathering, it has taken on the wabi-sabi aspect of a Japanese tōrō, a rustic lantern used to light the path to a shrine or temple.
