Sweet Abuelita
A tenderly-carved figure we found recently in Mexico City. We're not really sure what she's up to... She previously held a staff or cane in her right hand; in her left, she holds the remains of a bolsa. General rubbing of her polychrome rebozo (and everything else), as from frequent handling. Perhaps she was part of a nativity scene? Needs a little help to stand on her own. We feel you, Abuelita!
